You know, I am really saddened when I hear people liking art because it doesn't take thought and critical thinking. I think everything takes thought and concentration, and art is this incredibly abstract and mysterious thing that not a lot of people achieve understanding of.

So there is a storm overhead and I wanted to go out and see if I can take some photos of the lighting that I figured was a distance away. I turned my camera on in video mode and decided to record to see if I can get any of the lightning… I had my lens cover on and was looking outside before I realized it was on. Right when I noticed it was on lighting struck almost DIRECTLY above me. I scream holy fuck and move back farther in the garage. The hair on my arms and neck stood up and my knees and back felt super weak. My ears and head immediately began to hurt from the force and sound of the thunder.
I quickly shut my camera off and ran inside.
